Library For All Inaugurated In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A library with books to cater to people from all sections of society, specially students pursuing higher studies, was inaugurated in Keonjhar Municipality by Energy, Industries and MSME Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra.

Inaugurating the library, Mishra called upon the locals to make best use of the facility. Appreciating the unique design of the library, Mishra said he was pleased with the collection in Odia Literature.

The library has a capacity to seat 60 people, has books of different domain like literature, fiction, non-fiction, Sci-fi and for competitive exams and dictionaries in Odia and English, among others.

The facility has been implemented at a cost of Rs 47 lakh with funding from District Mineral Fund, Keonjhar.

Keeping the COVID-19 situation in mind, the library will operate with 50 percent capacity for now.

Among others, Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare; PD DRDA Uddhaba Chandra Majhi; EO Municipality, Keonjhargarh and other officials were present.
