Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader from Odisha Jayadev Jena has been appointed AICC observer for the forthcoming assembly election in Assam.
Jena is a former president of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee and ex-minister.
Elections to the 126-member Assam assembly will be held in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6.
