Daily COVID Caseload In Odisha Remains Over 10K For 7 Days In A Row
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 daily caseload in Odisha continues to remain over 10,000 for seven consecutive days with 10,321 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 5,534 are from quarantine and 4,259 local contacts.
While Khurda district remains on top with 1566 cases, Sundargarh has 819 cases followed by Cuttack: 731, Kalahandi: 599, Puri: 472, Angul: 471, Mayurbhanj: 458, Sambalpur: 405, Bhadrak: 350, Koraput: 338, Nabarangpur: 334, Jajpur: 330, Bargarh: 320, Jharsuguda: 312, Balangir: 291, Nayagarh: 273, Balasore: 269, Boudh: 250, Keonjhar: 204, Ganjam: 203, Rayagada: 163, Kendrapada: 162, Jagatsinghpur: 159, Nuapada: 145, Deogarh: 114, Dhenkanal: 77, Malkangiri: 77, Sonepur: 73, Gajapati: 56 and Kandhamal: 54.
Besides, the state pool has 246 cases. With this, the total positive cases in the state have gone up to 6,33,302.
With 5,26,353 recoveries, Odisha now has 1,04,539 active cases.
