Sushil Kumar Caught On Camera Assaulting Wrestler Who Died Later

New Delhi: The screengrabs of a video have surfaced that shows double Olympic medallists Sushil Kumar and his associates assaulting a man with sticks. The wrestler on the receiving end later succumbed to the injuries he suffered.

According to the video footage, Sushil Kumar is seen hitting Sagar Rana, Sonu Mahal and others. The complete 19-20 seconds video is in possession of the police, as evidence.

The video was found on Sushil’s close aide Prince’s mobile phone. Prince also has several cases lodged against him.

Delhi Police Special Cell arrested Sushil Kumar in Delhi’s Mundka on Sunday. He was on the run for over 20 days after the murder.

According to the cops, Sushil made his followers record the video of the incident in order to spread fear in the wrestling circuit and ensure his influence.

“Sushil had asked (his friend) Prince to make that video. He and his associates thrashed the victims like animals. He wanted to establish his fear in the wrestling community,” the police told a court.
