Rourkela: A youth, Ashok Kumar Jena (21), has been arrested for allegedly impersonating a cop in Rourkela on Friday.
According to police sources, Jena was keen on joining the police force and had a weakness for the uniform. Instead of attempting to clear the examination, he took the shortcut and was found roaming in the Sector 18 Market in Rourkela on a bike wearing a uniform with two stars.

He was intercepted by cops of a patrolling van on suspicion. His interrogation revealed that he was a fake cop. The uniform and bike have been seized from his possession.
