Odisha ACF’s Death: Police Collect Details Of Party Arranged By Bidyabharati In Balangir

Balangir: Paralakhemundi Town Police, investigating the death of Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, have collected the details of the party arranged by his wife Bidyabharati Panda in Balangir town.

According to police sources, Bidyabharati had arranged the party at the Livestock Inspector Training Centre on April 11 at her own expense. All invitees had lunch in their rooms.

Bidyabharati had arrived at the centre in chauffeur-driven care and told the in-charge that it was her personal vehicle. Since the deceased ACF did own a car, police are trying to trace the car in which she had travelled to Balangir and its owner, the sources added.

Gajapati SP and Additional SP have already questioned the deputy director of the centre about the event. The Paralakhemundi police have also recorded his statement and collected photos and phone numbers of 80 invitees and the rooms they had stayed in on the night after the party.

Police further informed that the Bidyabharati’s parents had picked her from the centre on April 13.
