Tata To Implement Shree Mandira Parikrama Project In Puri

Bid for Upper Indravati Right Canal renovation approved

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved tender of TATA Projects Limited for implementation of Shree Mandira Parikrama Project in the Heritage city of Puri under Augmentation of’ Basic Amenities and Development of Heritage and Architecture (ABADHA) scheme.

Briefing the media after the virtual meeting of the Cabinet, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra said the lowest turnkey tender amounting to Rs 331 crore (Rs 331,28,18,865) for the execution of the said project which is targeted for completion within 18 months has been approved.

Besides, the Cabinet also approved the following proposals:

  • Sanction of lease of government land measuring 18.23 acres in Kalamati Mouza under Sambalpur Tehsil for a permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
  • Tender for renovation of Upper Indravati Right Main Canal approved
  • Amendment of the Odisha GST Act, 2017 to simplify the provisions and provide certain facilities to the tax payers and tax authorities.
  • Framing of Odisha Food Testing Laboratory Cadre (Methods of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021 to regulate the method of recruitment, promotion and conditions of service of the person appointed to the different posts of the State Food Testing Laboratory, Bhubaneswar.
  • Framing of Odisha Fire Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Group A and Group B Officers) Rules, 2021.
  • Framing of the Odisha Jail Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Group A and Group B Officers) Rules, 2021.
