Services Of 3 Trains Through Odisha To Resume This Month
Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has decided to resume the services of 3 Special trains from different dates of this month.
The trains which will resume operation are Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Special, Puri-Howrah-Puri Jagannath Special and Khurda Road-Puri-Khurda Road Passenger Special.
The tri-weekly Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Special will run from Visakhapatnam from September 11 and from Amritsar from September 15. It will have modern Linke-Hofmann-Busch (LHB) coaches in place of conventional coaches.
This train will start from Visakhapatnam at 0025hrs every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday and from Amritsar at 2355hrs every Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday. Its main stoppages are Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Bilaspur, Katni Murwara, Jhansi, Agra Cant, New Delhi and Jalandhar.
Puri-Howrah Special will start running from Puri at 2240hrs from September 15 and from Howrah at 1905hrs from September 16. It will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur, Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Basta, Jaleswar, Belda, Kharagpur, Mechheda and Santragachhi on both directions.
Puri-Khurda Road Passenger Special will leave Puri at 1745hrs from September 20 and Khurda Road at 0725hrs from September 21. It will run via Malatipatapur, Janakedeipur, Sakhigopal, Birpurusottampur, Jenapur Road, Delang, Kanas Road, Motari and Haripurgram between Puri and Khurda Road on both directions.
