Volunteers of USA-based charitable organisation, Cheer Up Foundation, led by Nabin Sadangi distributed blankets and sarees in remote areas of Ingsa village in Agalpur tehsil, Dumerpali village in Balangir district. Gloves and other preventive measures have also been provided to the volunteers.

Similar activities have been taken up in Kalahandi, Balangir and Balasore by the volunteers. Ashish Satpathy, Sudipta Tripathy,  Bibhudatta Dash and Dr. Eli Mohapatra along with social activist Satyasiv Sundar Dash have been taking forward the cause of the foundation in Kalahandi, Balangir and Balasore districts.

Awareness campaign on fighting coronavirus was created among the people by distribution of pamphlets carrying emergency helpline numbers. Temperature checking and registration for vaccination was also carried out.
