COVID-19 Cases Remain Above 400 In Odisha, TPR 0.77% (In Delhi, It’s 4.59%)
Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha crossed 400 for the second consecutive day on Monday as 424 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The state had also seen 424 COVID positive cases on Sunday. Odisha registered 298 cases on Saturday, 228 cases on Friday, 225 cases on Thursday, and 221 cases on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 246 of the new infections are from quarantine and 178 local contacts. Among them, 47 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 151 new cases followed by Cuttack (66) and Balasore (29). Five districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 54,793 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.77%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,55,980, Odisha now has 2,355 active cases.
