Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared more areas as containment zones in the city on Friday.
The BMC stated in an order on Friday that 4 plots in the following areas under North Zone of BMC have been declared as Containment Zones:
J-208, Near Budha Park, Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar in Ward No-14.
S-5/166, Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar in Ward No-14.
Plot No-1094, Satya Vihar, Bhubaneswar in Ward No-18.
Flat No-103, Siba Plaza, Gajapati Nagar, Bhubaneswar in Ward No-12.
Similarly, some areas in the South-East Zone have also been declared micro-containment zones after several COVID positive cases were detected in Plot No 223/1752 in Bomikhal.
The other areas where COVID positive cases have been reported are:
Near Angan Restaurant, Saheed Nagar;
Near Yamaha Showroom, Kharvel Nagar;
Lane 1, Patitapaban Nagar, Canal Road, Badagada;
An Apartment in Tankapani Road;
Akarpuri Housing Board, Old Town;
Ganga Jamuna Road, Old Town.
Earlier, 19 zones in the city were declared micro-containment zones in the city.
