[Watch] Odisha Sand Artist Pays Tribute To Singing Legend Lata Mangeshkar

Bhubaneswar: The demise of Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar,  has left the entire nation in tears. Paying his tribute to the singing legend, Odisha’s sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has dedicated a sand animation to Lata Didi.

In his message, Sahoo said, “The whole world is saddened by her death which is an irreplaceable loss for our country. I make a sand animation to pay homage to her.”

It took the artist three hours to make this sand animation with the message “Legendary Lata Mangeshkar will always live in our hearts.”

Lata Didi breathed her last the Beach Cady Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday morning after a prolonged illness.

Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital after she was diagnosed with pneumonia and also tested COVID-19 positive earlier in January. She was on the ventilator for weeks but on January 28, she was taken off the ventilator after she showed signs of improvement.
