Lightning/Thunderstorm Warning For 2 Days; Check Rain Forecast For Odisha Till April 21
Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of Nuapada, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nayagarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh till 5,30 pm on Sunday.
The MeT Office has also issued yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Balasore till 8.30 am on Monday. Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur are likely to experience light to moderate rain during this period.
Yellow warning has also been issued for Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, where one or two places can witness thunderstorm and lightning during the subsequent 24 hours. Light to moderate rain is also expected at one or two places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts between 8.30 am on Monday and 8.30 am on Tuesday.
While there are no more warnings for the state, rainfall activity will continue for the next three days, the IMD said in its mid-day bulletin.

One or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar
There will be no large change in the day temperature during the next five days. The maximum temperature will be more than 40 degree Celsius at many places and remain 2 to 3°C above normal at a few places in Interior Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days, it added.
