Bhubaneswar: The folders of 14 lakh cases in different courts of Odisha are under the process of digitisation as a pioneering step in the country.

This was stated by chief secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra while addressing the Judicial Service probationers in their one-day exposure session with State Lokseba Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. “With digitisation of the case records and IT application in courts, the process of prosecution would be expedited and made easier. Besides, massive infrastructural development was being done in the courts across the state,” he said.
