Jagatsinghpur: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch on Friday arrested an associate of gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito from Krishnanandapur village under Tirtol police limits in Jagatsinghpur district.
The accused has been identified as Shaikh Shakir Ali. He is being interrogated to ascertain his links with criminal activities of the gangster.
The STF had on July 30 arrested two other more associates of Tito identified as Alok Mallick and Deepak Swain.
Both were picked up by a team of the STF from Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district.
According to sources, the two had attended a meeting with the gangster at Goa to plot some criminal activities.
Apart from these persons, more than 14 persons have already been arrested for their alleged links with Tito.
