Bhubaneswar: BJP National President Amit Shah will be again touring Odisha from September 6 as a part of the party’s strategy to expand its base in the state.
At a media conference held at state party headquarters here on Sunday, party’s National General Secretary and Odisha in-charge Arun Singh said Shah is scheduled to participate in 26 programmes during his three-day visit.
To strengthen its base at grassroots, the saffron party is also planning month-long programmes. On 75th anniversary of Quit India movement on August 9, the party will take out mashaal rallies at various places across the state, while Tiranga Yatra will be held from August 10 to 14.
Similarly, symposiums and conferences will be organised under ‘Naya Bharat Sankalp Siddhi’ from August 16-30.
