Bhubaneswar: The Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered a body from railway tracks near Kalpana overbridge here on Sunday.
The identity of the woman aged about 40 years is yet to be established. “It is still unclear as to how the woman died, she could have either fallen off a train or been hit by one,” a police officer said.
However, some local residents suspect that she was murdered and the body dumped on the railway tracks by miscreants.
After the postmortem was done, the body has been preserved at Capital Hospital here.
