New Delhi: Investigation into the grisly Shraddha murder case is revealing more and more shocking details.
It has now emerged that Aftab Poonawala, the prime accused, reportedly transferred Rs 54,000 from Shraddha’s bank account to his own and used the money to buy a refrigerator in which he kept the chopped body parts of Shraddha Walkar, Timesnownews.com reported.
According to Delhi Police, the money was transferred online between May 22 and May 26. Aftab told police during interrogation that he knew Shraddha’s passwords and transferred the money from her phone.

He also knew passwords of her live-in partner’s social media accounts. After killing her, Aftab posed as Shraddha to chat with her friends from her Instagram handle so that they and family members didn’t suspect him.
Once Aftab was nabbed, police recorded statements of Shraddha’s friends to verify details.
Narco test
However, the investigators are not convinced about some of Aftab’s claims and confessions. They believe the accused is trying to mislead them.
Hence, Delhi Police moved Saket court to conduct a Narco test on Aftab. It’s likely to be conducted after initial investigation is completed, provided the court gives persmission.
