Snake Found On Air India Express Flight; DGCA Probing Incident

Dubai: A snake was found in the cargo hold of an Air India Express plane after the flight landed at Dubai International Airport on Saturday.

All passengers of the B737-800 aircraft, which was flying from Kerala’s Kozhikode, were safely deplaned and the airport fire services were informed, reported PTI.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated a probe into the incident and suitable action will be taken, a senior official said.

According to him, it was a ground handling lapse.

There was no immediate response from any Air India Express spokesperson. The number of passengers on board the flight could not be ascertained also.
