Bhubaneswar: With the Odisha Rajaswa Amala Sangha staging a two-day black badge protest from Wednesday, BJP legislature party leader KV Singh Deo on Tuesday wrote to chief minister Naveen Patnaik urging him to intervene in the matter and resolve their longstanding issues.
The Sangha has threatened to go on indefinite strike from Friday if their demands and issued are not addressed.
In the letter, KV said, “More than 5 lakh government employees are members of the Sangha. An indefinite strike by this body will completely paralyse the government machinery and bring state administration to a standstill causing untold harassment and misery to general public.”
