Hyderabad: After actors Siddharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, director Rohit Shetty got injured on the sets of his upcoming web series ‘Indian Police Force’.
Rohit, who has directed superhit movies like ‘Chennai Express’, and ‘Golmaal’ series, had to be taken to Kamineni Hospital after sustaining an injury on his hand while shooting at Ramoji Film City.
Doctors performed a minor surgery, and kept him under observation. He was later discharged.
‘Indian Police Force’ is an expansion of his cop universe on big screen consisting of Singham, Singham 2, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, but this time on OTT platform.
The action-based web series stars Sidharth, Shilpa and Vivek Oberoi in key roles.
Interestingly, Sidharth and Shilpa both sustained injuries during shooting of the series last year.
Siddharth was injured in May 2021 in Goa, while Shilpa broke her leg while shooting last August.
