Admission of students to these new schools will be made from the 2023-24 academic session for which all necessary arrangements have been made, she said.

The state government will impart Plus II education in these new higher secondary schools from this academic session.

Opening of these new schools will lead to addition of more number of seats for enrolment of students, the Secretary said.

Sources said the district education officers (DEOs) and other field-level officials of the department have been asked to ensure all arrangements in place to make the admission process to these schools in the upcoming academic session hassle-free.
