Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for Khurda district including state capital Bhubanweswar by 9 pm on Wednesday.
The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar issued yellow message stating that light to moderate thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain may to affect some parts of Khurda district, including Bhubaneswar City in next three hours.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places protect from lightning strike.
