Bhubaneswar: Governor and Chancellor Of Universities Ganeshi Lal On Friday appointed Sabita Pradhan as the first Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Odia University at Satyabadi in Odisha’s Puri district.
Pradhan has been appointed for 2 years with effect from the date she assumes office as such or until further orders, whichever is earlier, the official notification said.

She is currently posted at Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan, as a professor in the Department of Odia. Linguistics & Stylistics, Modern Odia Literature are her areas of expertise.
