‘No Matter How Good Your Security Is’: Mukesh Ambani Gets 3rd Threat In 72 Hours, Ransom Doubled
Maumbai: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has reportedly received three death threats in three days from the same email and the sender has increase the ransom to Rs 400 crore due to non-response to the previous emails, new agency ANI reported on Tuesday.
A case has been registered against an unknown person at Mumbai’s Gamdevi police station and the cyber police is trying to trace the sender.
The third mail was received from the same sender, who had earlier sent two threats on October 27 demanding Rs 200 crore, on the official ID of Mukesh Ambani on Monday. The email threatened Ambani stating, “No matter how good your security is, one of our snipers can kill you. This time the amount is 400 crore rupees and police cannot track and arrest me.”
The sender reportedly said that the ransom amount was raised to Rs 400 crore as Ambani did not respond to his previous two mails.
