Keonjhar: One person died while another was critical injured after the car, in which they were travelling, overturned
on NH 20 near Hasanpur Toll Plaza at Anandpur in Odisha’s Keonjhar district late on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Sahoo, a resident of Ghatagaon and member of Keonjhar Truck Owners’ Association and the injured as Kulamani Sahu of Kainipura village Ghasipura police limits in the district.
According to sources, the accident took place when the duo was travelling in the car to Jajpur via Anandpur. While Ajay died on the spot, Kulamani was rushed to Anandpur sub-divisional hospital in critical condition. He was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
On getting information, police reached the spot and started investigation.
