Bhubaneswar MP Accuses State Govt Of Poor Governance
Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi on Sunday came down on the Odisha government for failure in ensuring a transparent and efficient administration for the people.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of ‘Swachh Teerth Abhiyan’ at Lingaraj temple in the city, the BJPleader said the government’s failure has been exposed in all sectors, be it Srimandir Parikrama (heritage corridor) project for Jagannath temple in Puri or conducting tests for recruitment to different posts.
“We all know what happened during Arpan Rath campaign for the heritage corridor. The government is yet to come out with any clarification regarding what happened to the rice and betelnuts collected from across the state for the inauguration of the project. Now, the candidates for appointment of junior teacher posts have exposed large scale irregularities in the selection process,” she said.
She further said all these reflect lack of maturity, efficiency and foresight on the part of the government. “The governance model in the state is a failure and the people who are advising the government are responsible for it,” Sarangi added.
