Black Magic Performed Against Me & CM Siddaramaiah, Claims Karnataka Deputy CM

Bengaluru: Karnataka deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar made a startling claim on Thursday.

He said in an attempt to disrupt their government, political opponents are performing black magic through ‘Aghoris’ and ‘tantriks’ at a temple in Kerala against him and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, reported IANS.

Shivakumar told newspersons he has credible information about a yagna (special worship) being conducted by ‘Aghoris’ – a sect of ascetic Shaivite sadhus — in an isolated place near Rajarajeshwari temple.

“The ritual is underway and is being conducted against me, the CM to destabilise the Congress government,” he said.

Those participating in the ritual — called ‘Raja Kantaka’ and ‘Marana Mohana Stambhana’ yagna — have informed that the main objective is to eliminate enemies, Shivakumar stated, adding that 21 red goats, 3 buffaloes, 21 black sheep and 5 pigs are being sacrificed through Aghoris as part of black magic.

Without specifying which party was carrying out the ritual, Shivakumar just that politicians from Karnataka are responsible.

“I know who is conducting this ritual. Let them continue their efforts, I don’t bother. It is left to their belief system. Despite their attempts and experiments to cause harm, the force which I believe in will protect me,” he said.

Asked if he is planning a counter-ritual, Shivakumar said he prays to God for a minute every day before going to work.
