Mumbai: Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh were blessed with a baby girl on Sunday, media outlets reported quoting sources.
The couple embraced parenthood almost six years after their lavish wedding ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como. They had announced the pregnancy in February this year.
According to reports, Deepika was admitted to Mumbai’s Reliance Foundation Hospital on September 7 around 5 pm. She was accompanied by her mother, Ujjala Padukone. Several photos and videos of the 38-year-old actor went viral on social media as she made her way to the hospital on Saturday, sparking excitement among fans.
Prior to her delivery, on Friday, the actress, her husband and their families were clicked paying a visit to Siddhivinayak Temple in the city. The couple also broke the internet with pictures from their gorgeous pregnancy shoot, a few days ago.
On the work front, they are awaiting the release of ‘Singham Again’, where Deepika will presumably be introduced as Lady Singham, while Ranveer will be seen in a cameo. Deepika was last seen in Kalki 2898 – AD with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
