Sher Mohammed, who travelled all the way from Jharkhand to Mumbai, had been camping outside the actor’s house for over three months, holding a placard just to get noticed by the actor.
After celebrating his birthday on November 2 with family and friends, Shah Rukh made Sher’s day by meeting him.
The fan from Jharkhand runs a computer centre in his hometown.
“Gaon me mera centre hai computer ka, usko band kar ke Shah Rukh sir se milne ke liye aya hu. Aur jab tak nahi milunga, tab tak yaha se mai nahi jaunga (I have a computer centre in my village which I closed and came here to meet Shah Rukh sir… until I meet him, I won’t move from here),” Sher was quoted as saying by NDTV a few days ago.
Asked about the losses he incurred in his business during these 95 days, he said, “Nuksaan ho raha hai, bohut nuksaan ho raha hai. Kya karoon? Fir milna hai (yes I am incurring heavy losses, but what to do? I have to meet him).”
“Mai milne ke liye yaha aaya hu. Mai milke nahi jaunga to mera izzat nahi bachega (If I go back without meeting him, I’ll lose respect),” he added.
