Bhubaneswar: The team from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela comprising Arpan Chakrabarty and Dibyajyoti Tarai emerged winners in the RBI90Quiz, a nationwide general knowledge-based quiz competition aimed at undergraduate students launched by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), to celebrate 90 years of its service.
The RBI90Quiz, a team-based contest, is being held in multiple stages.
The second position was bagged by the team from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, and the third position was bagged by the S.C.B Medical College team, Cuttack.
The state-level RBI90Quiz for Odisha was conducted at KIMS Auditorium in Bhubaneswar, where 76 teams, comprising 152 students competed.
Prizes for the winning teams include Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh, and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.
The winning teams will now compete in the Zonal round, which will be held from November 21 to December 4, 2024.
The national final round will be held in Mumbai in December 2024.
The first round of the RBI90Quiz was conducted online from September 19-21, 2024.
Based on the performance in the online round, college teams were selected to participate in the state-level rounds.
