New Delhi: Adding fuel to the fire over speculations of divorce, Aishwarya Rai’s name appeared without the ‘Bachchan’ surname at an event in Dubai.
As she was delivering a speech on women empowerment at the Global Women’s Forum event on Wednesday, a large screen behind her displayed her name as ‘Aishwarya Rai’, and not ‘Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’ as it used to be earlier.
Soon, videos and photos from the event started doing the rounds on social media platforms.

When ‘I Want To Talk’ director Shoojit Sircar spoke about the sacrifices Jaya Bachchan had made for her children recently, Abhishek compared Aishwarya with his mother and said, “In my household, I’m lucky I get to go out and make movies but I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya and I thank her immensely for that, but I don’t think the kids look at it that way. They don’t look at you as a third person, they look at you as the first person.”
Talk about Aishwarya and Abhishek parting ways started when the two arrived separately at the high-profile Ambani wedding In July.

There has been confirmation or denial from the couple yet.
Abhishek and Aishwarya, who tied the knot in April 2007, have a 13-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
