Bengaluru: Uber on Thursday announced the expansion of its Uber Pet service to Delhi and Mumbai, allowing riders to bring along their dogs, cats, and other pets.
The ride-hailing platform introduced this pet-friendly ride option for those looking to be matched with driver-partners, who are comfortable transporting pets in their vehicles, last year, beginning with Bengaluru.
The new on-demand feature ensures that pet parents no longer have to leave their beloved pets behind, making Uber Pet a stress-free mobility solution for those who want to travel together with their pets, the company said in a press statement.
To make the launch more exciting, Uber has teamed up with India’s top pet care brand, Heads Up for Tails (HUFT). Pet owners traveling to HUFT stores and spas in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru with Uber Pet can enjoy special discounts on their rides. Additionally, by showing their Uber Pet receipt at HUFT stores and spas, they can avail of exclusive deals on pet products and services.
