Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actress and global star Priyanka Chopra was on Tuesday spotted at Semiliguda in Odisha’s Koraput district, where the second schedule of S S Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film, SSMB29, is underway.
Taking to her Instagram story, Priyanka posted mesmerising videos capturing the scenic beauty of the district, where misty mountains and lush valleys cradled by dense forests erupts into cascading waterfalls, along with the bustling local markets while driving through the streets of Koraput. She also shared an in-flight picture.
The actress, who was last seen in Citadel and Love Again, is making her comeback in Indian cinema with this jungle adventure being headlined by South superstar Mahesh Babu. She had earlier shot a few scenes in Hyderabad and then traveled to Mumbai for her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities. On February 19, she returned to New York with her daughter, Malti Marie, according to reports.
She touched down in Odisha last evening, fuelling excitement among fans. She waved at fans, who gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the global, while leaving the hotel in Semiliguda.
Meanwhile, amid leaks of video and photos from the set, a ‘three-layer security arrangement’ has been put in place for the rest of the schedule. The district administration has granted the unit permission until March 28. The major shooting locations include scenic spots like Deomali, Talamali, and Machkund, with the first schedule primarily focused on Talamali, according to sources.
Local authorities are assisting the crew while simultaneously promoting Koraput’s picturesque landscapes.

The action-packed jungle adventure film, which is already touted to be the next global blockbuster, is being made under the Durga Art banner on a staggering budget of Rs 1000 crore.
