Bhubaneswar: Yellow warning of light to moderate thunderstorm/rain continues for 10 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 11.45 pm on Saturday.
The districts that are likely to be affected are Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Dhenkanal, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore.
Similar weather condition may also prevail in Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (Including Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar till 1.30 am.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes, the India Meteorological Department said.
