Mumbai: Actress Mouni Roy has broken her silence over plastic surgery rumours and trolls, saying that she won’t let negativity dampen her spirits.
Reacting to questions on being trolled for going under the knife, Mouni said that she doesn’t care about haters and that they are accountable for their own actions.
“Kuch nahin (nothing). Dekhti hee nahi (I don’t read those comments. Let everyone do their jobI do not pay attention to such remarks. If you hide behind a screen to troll others and if you find happiness in that so be it,” Mouni said.
Recently, Mouni attended the trailer launch of her upcoming film ‘Bhootnii’, in which she shares screen with Sanjay Dutt.
The trolling over her changed appearance started after she shared a reel on her Instagram handle, wearing a black slip dress.
One user wrote, “Surgery went wrong.”
While another commented, “Every public appearance is a new plastic surgery”.
