Mumbai: A fortnight after the heinous Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 innocent lives, Indian armed forces wiped out nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir in the early hours of Wednesday.
India’s operation, named ‘Operation Sindoor’, has been condemned by Pakistani actors Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan, who called it ‘cowardly.’
Reposting a tweet by writer Fatima Bhutto, which criticised the Indian strikes, Mahira wrote on her Instagram handle, “Seriously cowardly!!! May Allah protect our country, may better sense prevail. Ameen.”
Hania shared similar sentiments on her Instagram story by writing, “Cowardly.”
While the social media handles of Hania and Mahira have been disabled in India, some NRIs shared the screenshots of their posts on X (formerly called Twitter).
Soon after the screenshots went viral, netizens brutally trolled these Pakistani actors, who also enjoy a huge fan base in India.
One angry user tweeted, “I’d like mahira khan to answer this since you broke your silence about our operation sindoor. where were you when those terrorists killed our people just because they weren’t muslim. where were you when 26 of our were killed? allah tumhari nahi, hamari raksha kare tum jaiso se.”
