Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, dressed in an Armani Privé gown, inspired major fashion goals in her much-anticipated debut at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.
While Alia’s fans were floored by her Cannes appearance, a section of social media users wondered whether the actress was pregnant with her second child with Ranbir Kapoor.
One user wrote on Reddit, “From certain angles, she looks pregnant.”
Another commented, “I think she is pregnant.”
“Omg, even I had the same thought the instant I saw her first look. Idk why,” stated one user.
“Glowing, she is pregnant,” read another observation.

Last year, Alia had expressed her desire to have more kids while speaking at the IMDb’s Icons Only segment.
“Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life,” Alia said.
Ranbir also hinted at wanting more children with Alia, during a chat with Mashable.
