Nuapada: Unidentified miscreants on Friday looted Rs 9.5 lakh from a car parked in front of a branch of State Bank of India (SBI) in Nuapada district.
According to reports, contractor Koustav Sahu withdrew the money from the bank and kept it on the back seat of his car. While he was at the driver seat and about to start the vehicle, two motorcycle-borne miscreants broke the rear windowpane of the car and decamped with the cash.
On the basis of a complaint lodge by Sahu, police have started investigation.
