Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar recently revealed about a Bollywood WhatsApp chat group, where the members share confidential messages, criticising everyone in the industry.
On Barkha Dutt’s Mojo Story, when a member from the audience asked Karan if he would be using these WhatsApp conversations for a book or a movie, the surprised filmmaker said that he would have to leave the country if these chats get leaked.
“If anyone ever got access to those WhatsApp groups about me and many of my friends in the fraternity, I think we would have to move to London. We may not be able to continue living in our city,” Karan said.
Revealing that the discussions on his Bollywood WhatsApp group are unfiltered, Karan said, “Because let me tell you, they are very candid, honest, and sometimes very b**chy analysis of our immediate environment and what is going on. We are fashion critics; we are movie critics. We are critics of everything in that group. Everyone has an opinion, and none of us can ever put those opinions out there.”
KJo is currently seen hosting a reality show titled ‘The Traitors’, featuring 20 celebrities playing a game of trust, deception, and survival on Amazon Prime Video.
