Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has sanctioned 840 new posts across various categories for 56 new courts at Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class level.
The sanctioned posts include key positions such as 56 civil judges, along with various supporting staff like head clerks, bench clerks, stenographers, junior clerks, typists, copyists, process servers, peons, house orderlies, sweepers, and night watchmen, among others. The recruitment to these posts will be conducted in strict accordance with the respective rules and provisions under the Odisha Revenue and Valuation (ORV) Act. The funding for these positions will be allocated from the state’s budget for the financial year 2025-26.

The Law Department has formally communicated the creation of these new posts to the Accountant General, the official release said.
