Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by rain, thunderstorm and lightning is likely to lash at least eleven districts of Odisha by Monday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 3.05 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kandhamal and Khurda districts.

Light to moderate rain, thunderstorm and lightning may occur at some places in these districts within next three hours, it said.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
