Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 12 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till around 3 pm on Tuesday.
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower accompanied by lightning may occur at one or two places in the districts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Kalahandi.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
