Bhubaneswar: ‘Chaturtha Silpa Biplab’, an Odia book on Industrial Revolution 4.0 written by eminent educationist, writer and poet Madhuree Adhikary, has been launched.
The book was released in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday by Odisha Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Swain.
Considered as one-of-its-kind publication in Odia language, the book touches upon 40 different aspects of modern industrialization and technical education, which has high relevance to present day industrial development in the country and our state.
The book would serve as a useful reference material to students of technical education as well as for industry professionals.
Some of the relevant topics of Industry 4.0 such as, Machine Learning, Location Tracking, Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality, Advanced Robotics etc. have been elaborated in the book in simple Odia language.
Author Madhuree Adhikary feels that the book would be an asset for industry libraries and skill institutions of Odisha as there are very few publications on industry related subjects in Odia language. This would cater to both urban and rural student population.
The Minister thanked the author for her novel idea of writing such developmental book on industry matters in Odia language, He assured all support for its reach out to the targeted readers.
A host of distinguished educationists, literary veterans and industry house representatives were present on the occasion of the book release, a press release said.
