Cuttack: Actor Buddhaditya Mohanty, known for his stellar performances in both Odia films and television, was discharged from a private hospital in Cuttack on Tuesday, following 8-day treatment for mild infection in lungs and chest.
The actor was admitted to the pulmonary medicine department of the hospital on September 15 evening and was diagnosed with lung infection following blood tests.. He was suffering from chronic cough and fever and had complained of breathlessness that morning. Following which, social media was flooded with messages from fans, wishing him a speedy recovery.
According to sources, doctors have advised the actor to take adequate rest and continue with the prescribed medications to ensure a full recovery.
Buddhaditya was last seen in ‘Delivery Boy 2’, the sequel to Delivery Boy, in which he played the lead role opposite Archita Sahu.
