CR Park, known as Delhi’s ‘mini Bengal’, is famous for its Durga Puja celebrations. Vibrant pandals, food stalls and cultural events attract thousands of visitors to this south Delhi locality during this festival season.
With the Prime Minister also taking part in this year’s celebrations, there were restrictions in place from 3 pm to midnight to ensure smooth movement and security.
The Greater Kailash-II Welfare Association even issued an advisory for residents, urging them to avoid certain internal roads in CR Park, reported ANI.
Last week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Kolkata to inaugurate a few Durga Puja pandals.
