Mumbai: Tensions in ‘Bigg Boss 19’ house escalated following a verbal spat between Mridul Tiwari and Malti Chahar.
During a recent task, Malti was asked by housemates to prepare the dough for rotis. She refused, stating that the chore required a lot of energy and she would do it after completing the task.
When housemates directed her to do knead the dough immediately or else they will have to stay hungry, Malti refused to budge.
Amid this hullabaloo, Mridul approached Malti and confronted her over the usage of abusive language in the house.
Speaking to her politely, Mridul said, “Do you usually use such words? If I wanted, I could have replied the same way, but I didn’t. And today again, you said the same thing.”
He added, “Please don’t abuse me like that. Because hereafter if you abuse me, main tujhe bhoot bana dunga. Yeh hatt watt mujhe mat boliyo. (if you abuse me, then I will make you a ghost. Don’t talk to me rudely.)”
Malti replied, “Tu pagal hai kya? (Have you gone nuts)”.
Mridul gave it back: “Tere jaise pachaas pagal phaink dunga main yahan pe. (I can fight with 50 mad girls like you over here.)”
After the episode was aired, Mridul’s cousin, Nandu Gurjar defended him and slammed Malti for using abusive language on the show.
Gurjar took to his Instagram story and shared, “Humare bhai jo itne decently khel rahe hain, kabhi kisi ko gaaliyan nahi di, aur jis tarah se wo mahilaon ki izzat karte hain, mujhe nahi lagta Bigg Boss ke ghar mein koi aur contestant itni izzat deta hoga. Phir bhi ek wild card baar baar unhe itni gandi gaali de rahi hai… jabki humare bhai haath jod kar izzat se baat kar rahe hain. Yeh bahut hi sharmnak aur ghatiya language hai. Mujhe umeed hai weekend ke vaar par jis tarah humare bhai ko bola jaata hai game up karne ke liye, waise hi iss contestant ko bhi bola jaaye apna standards up karne ke liye aur aisi gaaliyan na de. ( My cousin has been playing so decently. He has never abused anyone, and the way he respects women, I don’t think any other contestant in the Bigg Boss house shows that level of respect. Yet, a wild card entry keeps hurling abuses at him repeatedly… even though my cousin talks to everyone with folded hands and speaks with respect. This kind of filthy and shameful language is unacceptable. I hope that just like my cousin is often told on Weekend Ka Vaar to ‘show his game’, this contestant too should be told to raise her standards and stop using such abusive language).”
