Bhubaneswar: Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal is set to enthral the visitors at the historic Bali Jatra on its concluding day in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Thursday evening.
The renowned singer has arrived in Bhubaneswar to present a mesmerising cultural evening with her soulful voice in the evening in Cuttack Bali Jatra, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
Notably, the singer had earlier expressed her excitement about performing at the annual event on social media, saying it’s a great opportunity to connect with her fans in the millennium city of Cuttack.
The event is being held at the Baishnab Pani Manch, a stage permanently constructed at Bali Jatra ground for cultural programmes during the week-long trade fair and arrangements have been made to screen the performance on LED screens in the surrounding areas.
Traffic restrictions have already been put in place to manage the expected crowd, and visitors are advised to plan accordingly. As the festival’s final day is expected to draw large crowds, District Collector has appealed to the public to maintain order and decorum.
The Cuttack Bali Jatra, a 150-year-old tradition, is a significant cultural event that attracts thousands of visitors every year. Shreya Ghoshal’s performance will be the highlight of the concluding evening at the iconic festival.
