Bhubaneswar: After according university status to Rajendra Autonomous College in Balangir district, the Odisha government on Wednesday approved establishment of Kalahandi University at Bhawanipatna.
According to a notification by the Higher Education Department, the territorial jurisdiction of Sambalpur University has been altered to establish this varsity. This comes into effect from the date of the publication of the notification, it added.
