Bhubaneswar: In a significant step, the Odisha government on Thursday announced key appointments in the state’s medical education and training.
Dr Durga Madhab Satapathy, serving as Superintendent of MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, has been appointed as the new Director of Medical Education & Training (DMET) in the state Odisha.

In a simultaneous development, the current DMET, Dr Santosh Mishra, has been appointed Director of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Bhubaneswar.
These key appointment is seen as a strategic move to further strengthen medical education and healthcare delivery across Odisha.
